1. India’s leading e-commerce retailer Flipkart has raised funds worth $1 billion (over Rs.6,000 crore), the largest-ever by an Indian Internet company. The company would look at acquisitions and focus on Mobile commerce, payments and improving customer and seller experience.

2. India and Nepal may sign Power Trade Agreement and Power Development Agreement during the visit of Modi. India is likely to announce gifting a middle-sized hydropower to Nepal and also review the Indo-Nepal peace treaty of 1950.

3. Law Commission Chairperson A.P. Shah has recommended increase in the retirement age of High court judges to 65 similar to that of SC judge. It has also suggested that the Judicial Appointment Commission to have a full-time Secretariat headed by a retired High Court judge and an investigating team to verify the antecedents of the proposed candidates to JAC.

4. The Telecom department will approach the Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeiTY) to formulate a cloud services deployment roadmap for all government organisations. Deity is already involved in MeghRaj, or GI Cloud, initiative which encourages IT adoption in government and partner with private technology players to develop India as a global hub for delivering cloud solutions.

5. India's largest telecom firm Bharti Airtel, which was started in 1995 has now 300 million customers across its mobile, fixed line, DSL and DTH services. It reached the 100 million customers mark in 2009 and crossed the 200 million mark in 2012.

6. India and Russia is holding consultation to set up Russian assisted 22 nuclear power projects in India. The outcome of the consultation will be discussed during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with President Vladimir Putin in Brazil in July.
