1. The indigenous PSLV-C23 rocket will be launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre ( SHAR) in Sriharikota on 28th June 2014.It carries satellites of France, Germany, Canada and Singapore.
2. Presidents of the three countries India, China and Myanmar reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful coexistence on the 60th anniversary of the Panchsheel Treaty.
3. Ukraine signed a landmark pact with European Union. The EU pact was important for the country which is sandwiched between Europe and Russia. It was earlier rejected by its ex-president and tends to pull Ukraine out of Russia's influence.
4. National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) proposed setting up of a Rs.500-crore fund for the holistic development of the IT industry. He said India’s share of 50 per cent in the global IT sourcing market translated to an eight per cent contribution to the çountry’s GDP, a figure that would cross 10 per cent in the next five years.
5. SEBI is in the process of framing new rules and regulations for Employee Stock Options (ESOP) of companies and has barred it's buying from the secondary market till the new rules are notified. The new regulations will bring in transparency and improved governance.
