1. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) received over three lakh e-mails which were sent in response to a consultation paper released on 27 March 2015 on revamped regulatory framework for the Over-the-top (OTT) services. Debate on net neutrality is still ongoing.

2. Yoga guru Baba Ramdev was in news as State Government of Haryana decided to accord status equivalent to a Cabinet Minister on him. Earlier the state government appointed Ramdev as the State’s brand ambassador to promote Yoga and Ayurveda in Haryana.

3. HDFC Bank is set to become the first Indian bank whose mobile banking application (app) will be available on the Apple Watch ‘i-watch’ to be launched in India later this month.

4. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory named Asteroid 316201 after Malala Yousafzai, the winner of 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.

5. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley inaugurated the Vividh Bharati Service of Delhi on FM Mode in a function held at premises of New Broadcasting House of All India Radio (AIR). The service will be available on 100.1 Megahertz frequency.
