1. Chaotic movement of Pluto’s Moons : Pluto has got two moons named Nix and Hydra. It is found by NASA, that they are rotating chaotically as their gravitational fields are shifting constantly.
2. Sundaram Ravi selected for ICC Elite Panel: Sundaram Ravi Indian Cricket umpire has been selected for the International Cricket Council (ICC) Elite panel ,11 years after S. Venkat Ragavan India’s last representative in the panel.
3. Citi bank offer to women employees : Citi Bank has offered its women employees in India a child care allowance of Rs. 1.32 lakhs a year for spending on day care services etc.
4. 20 Army men killed in Manipur ambush : In one of the worst attacks on the army atleast 20 soldiers are feared to have died after a convoy came under attack in Manipur’s Chandel district.
5. PM to launch AMRUT mission: PM Narendra Modi will launch the AMRUT mission ( Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) by starting AMRUT mission in 500 cities.
6. World Environment Day June 5 : World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5th. The slogan for this year’ world environment day is “Seven billion dreams. One planet. Consume with care”.
7. India signs global agreement on Financial Information Exchange: India has signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement (MCAA) which paves way for automatic exchange of financial information. This will enable India to receive financial information from every other country automatically.

Even Indian Gods are being imported from China: Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said, that even idols of Lord Ganesha were coming into India from China with the eyes of Lord Ganesha becoming narrower and narrower. We should start our “make in India” campaign from our god’s images said Mr. Parrikar in a jocular mood.
2. Wipro announces average 7 % Pay hike: India’s third largest Software exporter Wipro announced an average wage hike of 7% in line with other companies like TCS and Infosys.
3. Bharti Telecom to raise Rs. 3200 crores from global investors: India’s largest telecom company Bharti Airtel is planning to raise Rs. 3200 crores by selling bonds to global investors.
4. Indian business now raises more money via Commercial Papers: The outstanding stock of commercial Paper is now at a new height of 2.9 lakh crores on May 15, 2015 which is more than Rs. 1 lakh crore from 31st Mar 2015. The Indian business prefers to go through commercial paper in raising finance.
5. 2.75 lakhs new jobs created during July – Dec 2014: The governments push for make in India appears to have paid dividend with report that India has added 2.75 lakh jobs during July- Dec 2014 compared to 1.26 lakhs for the corresponding period 2013.
