1. Switzerland to publish list of Indian and Foreign nationals having Swiss bank accounts : The Swiss banking Ombudsman will publish the names of Indians and other foreign nationals having Swiss bank accounts. The Ombudsman will also publish a list of accounts that have remained unclaimed for more than 60 years.
2. China unveils facial recognition ATM: Chinese researchers have successfully developed the first Automated Teller Machine (ATM) with facial recognition technology to reduce the risk of theft.
3. Service tax rate goes up to 14% from today: People will have to shell out more for mobile usage , eating out , travelling and cell phone as the service tax rate goes up by 14% with effect from today 1st June 2015.
4. State Bank Of India has launched Online Customer Acquisition Solution: Online Customer Acquisition Solution( OCAS) an online platform in which customers can apply for Home loans, Car loans, Education loans etc has been developed and implemented by SBI. The application was launched by Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairperson of SBI.
5. In UP a court case has been lodged against Nestle India on its product maggi: In Bara banki in UP ,a case has been filed against Nestle India over breech of safety standards in its product maggi. It was found that maggi had high level of lead and monosodium glutamate(MSG) ,a taste enhancer.
6. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley inaugurates high value bank note paper mill: The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has inaugurated high value bank note paper mill at Hoshangabad ,Madhya Pradesh. India is at present importing paper for printing high value currencies. This proposed paper mill will be producing bank note paper for higher denomination currencies.

1. Nationwide Bank strike on June 24: The demands include delinking associate banks from SBI, not curbing trade unions’ right of representation, extension of compassionate appointment scheme as per government guidelines, increase in quantum of staff housing loan etc.
2. Tiger Global invest $12 m in Electric vehicle start up: Ather Energy, a Bangalore-based start-up said it has received $12 million in funding from Tiger Global. The company, which is currently designing an electric two-wheeler, said that the money raised will be used for development, testing, production and the launch of Ather’s first smart electric two-wheeler – the Ather S340.
3. India has launched a virtual memorial wall to honour the U.N. peacekeeping heroes : Hosted at the website of India’s mission in U.N., the wall now has names and details of 161 Indians who died in peacekeeping operations.
4. White Print, India’s first English lifestyle magazine for the visually challenged: Upasana Makati here launched White Print, India’s first English lifestyle magazine for the visually challenged. The 64-page monthly publication in Braille has columns on culture, art, technology, food, music and politics. Readers too can write.
5. Madhuri Dixit lands in trouble for her Maggi Ad endorsement: Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit seems to have landed in a soup for endorsing Maggi as the Food and Drug Administration, Haridwar, serving a notice to her on the claims made in the advertisement
