1. Morsy sentenced to death: An Egyptian court upheld the death sentence given to the deposed President, Mohammed Morsy, over a mass jailbreak during the 2011 uprising.

Mithun hands over Saradha money to ED: Film actor and Trinamool Congress MP, Mithun Chakraborty surrendered Rs.1.2 crore to the Enforcement Directorate( ED) which he had received from the scam tainted Saradha Group. The money was paid to him as a professional fees by the Saradha Group for hosting a television show.

8. $9 billion worth Donald Trump joins the race for president of America : Donald Trump who is a real estate mogul has announced his candidature for presidential post . He will be running for president post in 2016. He is the 12th candidate in the fray .
9.RuPay credit cards to be issued from 2016 : With its debit cards turning out to be a huge success, RuPay, India's own payment system floated by National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) will roll out RuPay credit cards in 2016.
10. Greece debt default eminent : Greece is set to default on a $1.8 billion debt repayment to the International Monetary Fund on June 30 unless it receives fresh funds by then from the Euro zone.
11. BSNL introduces free WiFi for Taj Mahal tourists : The tourists who visit the Taj Mahal in Agra will now be able to take pictures and instantly send them to friends and family as the state-run Telecom operator BSNL has introduced WiFi at the site.
12. Al-Qaeda confirms Death of its Arabian Peninsula Leader : Al-Qaeda confirmed that the leader of its Arabian Peninsula Mr. Nasser al-Wuhayshi was killed in a US drone strike in Yemen.
