2. 1993 Mumbai blasts accused Yeda Yakub dies in Pakistan : Gangster Dawood Ibrahim's close aide Yakub Khan alias Yeda Yakub, a key accused in the 1993 serial blasts of Mumbai, is believed to have died in Karachi, Pakistan, informed by Indian Intelligence sources .
3. ICICI Bank at higher risk of bad loans: Among the private sector banks, investors and analysts have been raising concerns about the quality of bad loans at ICICI Bank as it has lent money to infrastructure groups unlike its peer, HDFC Bank.

Joshana enters Oz Open last 8: Indian squash player Joshana Chinappa won the bronze medal after losing to current world champion and top seed Nicol David of Malaysia at the semi-finals of the Asian Championships. 28-year-old Chinappa, seeded fourth, went down 6-11, 9-11, 7-11 in the women's singles semi-finals to become the only Indian to win a semi-final berth.
