01. ‘Sehat’ launched : Union Government launches ‘Sehat’ to provide healthcare facilities in rural areas in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals. Under the Sehat initiative people will be able to consult doctors through video link i.e. Vice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and also order generic drugs.

02. Dhyan Chand Awards 2015 : Dhyan Chand Award is India's highest award for lifetime achievement in sports and games, given by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The award is named after the legendary Indian hockey player Dhyan Chand. The award was initiated in 2002. Dyan Chand Award for 2015 has been given to the following sportspersons:
a.Romeo James– Hockey.
b.Shiv Prakash Mishra- Tennis and
c. P.P Nair– Volleyball.

03. Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2015 : Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2015 has been awarded to:
a.Directorate General of Military Training (DGMT) – for identifying and nurturing of young talent in sports.
b.Coal India Limited (CIL) – for encouraging sports through Corporate Social Responsibility.
c.Haryana State Police- For employing sportspersons and sports welfare measures. Sports d.Coaching Foundation (SCF)- For development of sports.

04. PayUMoney ties up with redBus to woo customers to wallet : PayU India has entered into an exclusive partnership with online bus ticketing platform redBus to offer cash-back discounts to customers who use its wallet PayU Money to buy tickets.

05. SBI to issue equity shares on preferential basis : Country's largest bank SBI is planning to issue equity shares on preferential basis to the government for capital infusion of Rs 5,393 crore.

06. SWIFT enters domestic markets: Society for Worldwide International Financial Transactions (SWIFT), a global messaging service provider and payments facilitator for overseas remittances will now also provide the services to the domestic markets. It will start commercial operations by December and has obtained necessary approval.

07. InfrasoftTech comes out with digital banking solution QRys for contactless payments : InfrasoftTech, a technology enabler specialising in digital solutions for the banking and financial services sector launched QRys, a new product which will simplify contactless payments.

08. IFFCO launches joint venture with Mitsubishi Corp for manufacturing agrochemicals : Fertilizer giant IFFCO has entered into joint venture with Japanese firm Mitsubishi Corp for manufacturing agrochemicals in India. Operations will start in this rabi season from October.
