1. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has liberalised the norms for taking position in exchange-traded currency derivatives. It raised the ceiling on domestic investors as well as foreign portfolio investors for rupee/dollar pair to $15 million from $10 million.

2. Hockey India conferred Major Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award on legendary Balbir Singh Senior. Balbir Singh Senior was a member of three Olympic gold medal winning Indian team.

3. Nobel Laureate John F Nash Jr. won the Abel Prize 2015 for his work on partial differential equations. The prize was announced by the Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters. He will share the Prize with Louis Nirenberg, Professor Emeritus at New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences.

4. Government is expected to table the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Authority (NSRA) Bill in Parliament when it meets again after the recess. The NSRA, which will replace the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), will work as a statutory authority empowered to issue nuclear safety policies and regulations.

5. Japan organised the world's first Otaku Expo from 28 March 2015 to 29 March 2015 at Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Chiba Prefecture. The visitors so-called Otaku, usually translated as geeks, from at least 18 countries and territories, many dressed as their favourite anime characters.

1. Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has prescribed a ticket size of one million rupees (Rs 10 lakh) for individual investors who want to invest in start-up IPO. The move has been included as part of Sebi’s proposed new regulations for start-up companies to list domestically.

2. RBI’s consent might be required for any takeover or acquisition of control of an NBFC, which might or might not result in change of management said the central bank in draft norms on NBFCs.

3. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) won Gandhi Peace Prize 2014. The award was selected by the jury under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

4. Aditi Arya of Delhi won the fbb Femina Miss India 2015 title on 28 March 2015 at the 52nd edition of the beauty contest held at Yash Raj Studio in Mumbai. Aditi Arya will represent India at Miss World 2015.

5. Food for All: International Organizations and the Transformation of Agriculture written by Uma Lele was in news in March 2015. The book surveys the food and agricultural development assistance delivered by five major international organizations since their establishment to gauges their relevance, effectiveness, and impacts in a dramatically changed world.
