01. Djokovic wins yet another title: Novak Djokovic has won the 2015 Shanghai Rolex Men’s singles tennis tournament. This is his third straight title in the last four years. Apart from the grand slams, he has won six titles in the current year.

02. Growth in Chinese economy, weakest since 2009: China economy has grown by 6.9% which has been the weakest since 2009, when it tumbled to 6.2% . To induce activity, the Central Bank of China has already cut interest rates five times since last November and also reduced reserve requirement ratios.

06. 7035 willful defaulters owe Rs.59000 crores to PSU banks: As per data made available,7035 willful defaulters owe Rs.59000 crores to PSU Banks, including SBI. Willful defaulters contribute to 22% of the gross NPA figures. Gross NPAs of PSU Banks rose to Rs.2.67 lakh crores as at March 2015, as against Rs.2.40 lakh crore a year ago.

07. Udyog Aadhar gaining popularity: Since its inception, over 10000 people have applied for Udyog Aadhar. MSME entrepreneurs have also been encouraged to go in for Udyog Aadhar and direct transfer of benefits scheme is being considered for MSMEs.

08. China will sell bullet trains in Indonesia: China signed its first overseas business of selling bullet trains to Indonesia. Presently China has 16000 kms of high speed rails, which is the largest in the world.
